Occult Regulator Class

The Occult Regulator is a dedicated anti-magic class, with abilities designed to shut down enemy spellcasters. They have a fair amount of combat capabilities, and can stand in combat as a martial character, though they excel at targeting those enemies that they have that special hatred for.

The class has two archetypes, reflecting the various philosophies of those who seek to make the world a safer and more mundane place. The first are the Puritans. They hold that magic must be rooted out at the base and kept from those who would misuse it. Their capabilities of targeting spellcasters are incredibly powerful, and it is a goal to which the are fully committed. The other archetype represents those who deviate from these ideals. The Radicals acknowledge the power of magic and a means of defeating it. They choose to fight fire with fire by learning some magic of their own, trading their focus for a little extra versatility.
