A group of treants are attacking a local lumber mill, and the workers are in danger of losing their lives and their jobs. But what motivated them to suddenly attack the lumberjacks?

This is a short, system agnostic adventure for any fantasy roleplaying game. It is designed to be played in a single session, or perhaps in a few short sessions. The adventure contains a central plot hook, a series of detailed NPCs featured in the scenario, instructions for setup and establishing the scene, a progression of scenes accompanied by GM guidance, and a conclusion with suggested adventure rewards and plot threads that can be further developed. Maps and other reference material are included to help run the adventure. The document is a printer-friendly black and white, for ease of use in print as well as digitally.
